What are the benefits?

What are the benefits?

First of all, you have a lot of time to yourself during the clinical trial. You can use that time to study, for example, or to watch your favourite series on your laptop. We measure your heart rate or take a blood sample every now and then, for example, but otherwise we don’t bother you much. The fact that you also receive suitable compensation for this is, of course, another great incentive!

The amount of your compensation depends on the duration of the clinical trial and the number of medical treatments you undergo. It has nothing to do with the level of risk taken!

I always enjoy my time at QPS, homely, comfortable, good food, professional supervision, but also personal and enthusiastic support. The website is clear and easy to use with a quick overview of which clinical trial suits me.

FAQs

How is the amount of compensation determined?
This depends on the length of your stay and on the number of treatments carried out during the research. The compensation is determined per study and approved by the Medical Ethics Review Committee (METC).
Do you follow the guidelines of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) concerning coronavirus?
The health of our volunteers always comes first. We have therefore adapted our clinic, scheduling and working methods to the RIVM guidelines concerning coronavirus. These guidelines are strictly adhered to. Due to the home working situation, we are currently only available via e-mail. Do you have any questions? You can ask them by sending an e-mail to qpsrecruitment@qps.com.
Is this clinical trial safe?
Participation in a clinical trial is safer than driving in traffic. This is because the government (the Medical Ethics Review Committee) and QPS put your safety first. For example, there are clear laws and they are properly monitored. In addition, our experienced team of doctors and nurses ensures that your participation is safe and pleasant.
When do I receive the compensation?
The compensation is paid out within 4 weeks after the clinical trial is fully completed. The compensation is declared to the tax authorities as income.
